Fee Protection Policy for International Students

The Board of Trustees collects tuition fees and may hold other funds (e.g. pre-paid board money) on behalf of international students, in its general operating bank account.

To safeguard the student’s paid-for tuition and to ensure that refunds can be given to students, in line with the Fees Refund Policy, the following measures have been taken:

1.    The school’s insurance policy covers the school so that, in the event of a fire or other disaster leading to loss of teaching spaces, the school can continue to provide education at a hired venue.

2.    The School’s Proprietors are guarantors should the Board of Trustees be obliged to make refunds under the Fees Refund Policy, and be unable to repay tuition fees or other funds held on behalf of the students.

3.    The students’ fees are covered by their own compulsory insurance policy with Uni-Care in case they have to return home early because of their own or a close family member’s illness

Refunds will be made as soon as practicable after an application for a refund has been approved, but within 21 days.
