Internal Grievance Procedures specific to International Students

All students who have a complaint should follow the process set out below;  a complaint will be dealt with as soon as possible but within two school weeks of the complaint having been received.

If an international student thinks that the school has failed to follow the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students, the school has the following internal procedures in place:

Step 1
In first instance, take the complaint to your class sponsor or the subject teacher, depending on the nature of the complaint. Talk to the Staff member yourself.  You can bring a friend or family member with you.

Step 2
If the complaint is not resolved then talk to Upper School Co-ordinator of the staff member you have just talked with.  You can ask your Pastoral Care Person to support you.

Step 3
Prepare a complaint in writing.  You can ask your Pastoral Care Person to help you.  Present your complaint to the School Co-ordinator.

Step 4.
If you are still unhappy with the outcome from the investigation, you make take your complaint to the College of Teachers, via the School Co-ordinator  - (See flow chart).
