Travel and Medical Insurance
International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. Students who are in New Zealand for less than two years are not entitled to receive any benefits, because of this it is compulsory for all students to have full medical and travel insurance for the duration of their planned study.

Uni-Care Insurance Ltd, is a specialist Insurance Company offering insurance to foreign students and academic staff in New Zealand. If you wish the school staff to arrange insurance on your behalf, please indicate this on your Application for Enrolment form.

If you decide not to go with Uni-Care, you must forward a letter (in English) from your own insurer that states that your son/daughter has full medical and travel insurance while he/she is in New Zealand.
