Te Roupu Tautuko i te Kaupapa Maori Support Group
The group is newly formed and has been set up to support the Board and School to implement Te Reo and ensure a more substantial Maori cultural presence within the School.
The group meets on a termly basis to provide energy and ideas for the development of the Schools Maori curriculum and to strengthen within the school and community. Aim to strengthen Maori language and culture components to support children having a good understanding and openness to the Maori culture - in a contemporary sense.
The group reports via Karen Brice-Geard to the Board of Trustees, College of Teachers, Proprietors’ Executive Group and Class Representatives.
